Gareth Bale’s plans for a new contract demand is upsetting teammates inside the Real Madrid locker room.
With Manchester United circling, Bale’s camp plan to use their interest to turn up the heat on Real president Florentino Perez as they negotiate a new deal.
The Welshman’s performance for Wales at the Euros also adds weight to his demands – which has left many Real teammates upset.
Real colleagues don’t believe Bale’s club form justifies his wage claims, with his new €17 million demand being twice as high as the majority of the more experienced players.
They also believe Bale’s status within the squad doesn’t warrant such a pay-rise as he’s not been able to produce consistently at club level. as for me Bale deserves it judging from his recent performance.
