The one time the Liechenstein army made a friend
During the Austro-Prussian War of 1868, the small sovereign state of Liechtenstein sent an army of 80 men into Italy for combat.
Not only did all 80 men survive, they came across an Italian soldier who just went, "yo, you guys seem like cool dudes" and decided to return to Liechtenstein with them.
So, the Liechtenstein army literally came home from battle with more men than they started with
